A little more about me.

As someone who is, at times, described as a ‘mixed race, ‘black’, ‘dual heritage’, ‘minority ethnic’, ‘Afro-Carribean’, ‘African’, my experience of being many different things to different people has left me deeply interested in the challenges that can exist in the gaps between how we experience ourselves and how we are seen as by others.

Whether the personally held or externally assigned identities you navigate relate to race, ethnicity, gender, class, beliefs, sexuality, or any other area of life, I am interested in understanding how you experience yourself regardless of categories, and will respect your right to your own sense of self while exploring with you what this ‘self’ means both to you and the wider world you live in.
