As an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I aim to use my training and experience to work with you in a welcoming, flexible, and non-judgemental way.
I feel it is important to recognise and respect the individuality of your journey through life, and work to understand how you make sense of your world. This approach allows us to explore the influence of the past and the challenges of the present while uncovering new possibilities for the future in a deeply personal way.
In practice, this means that I tailor my approach to you, drawing on my training in a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, psychodynamic, relational, and body psychotherapy. I will not dictate a particular course of action or offer advice; instead, I will work with you to build a space where you can more clearly hear your own inner voice. I may, at times, challenge you, but I will always aim to do so in a supportive and constructive manner.

I hold an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling (Middlesex University, UKCP Accredited), an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling (UKCP Accredited) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (BACP Accredited) from The Minster Centre, London
I have been working with clients in the NHS, charitable organisations and in private practice for over 12 years. I am committed to continued professional development and training, am a registered member of the BACP, work within their ethical framework, including all expectations of confidentiality, and hold professional insurance.
As part of my continued professional development, I am particularly interested in Identity, Attachment, Relationality and Intersubjectivity, all of which explore how who we are intersects with the relationships, cultures and society we experience.

A little more about me
As someone who is, at times, described as a ‘mixed race', ‘black’, ‘dual heritage’, ‘minority ethnic’, ‘Afro-Carribean’, ‘African’, my experience of being many different things to different people has left me deeply interested in the challenges that can exist in the gaps between how we experience ourselves and how we are seen as by others.
Whether the personally held or externally assigned identities you navigate relate to race, ethnicity, gender, class, beliefs, sexuality, or any other area of life, I am interested in understanding how you experience yourself regardless of categories, and will respect your right to your own sense of self while exploring with you what this ‘self’ means both to you and the wider world you live in.
